Living in Burke, Virginia is a lot like living in any home town, with local sports being a big part of the lifestyle. Families look for T-Ball, Little League, soccer and of course, junior high and high school sports. What is sport organizations are in Burke, Virginia? Are their sport opportunities for adults? Is there a parks and recreation department in Burke?

there is a real “military style” of country club life style here in Burke;
afterall look at the stats and you see 30-40% veterans here…heavy navy and marine corps oweing to the local Burke VFW Post (5412);
daily pedestrian sports range from 5-10 mile roller blading or biking to plain old walking/jogging.
watch it though! despite nature/jogging trils and sidewalks thru-out, you still have to cross streets…and people just don’t stop on right anymore! don’t let your major med or military meds lapses!
i have two hit and runs last 5YRS, one i signed arrest application. (road rage jerk and it was his GIRL FRIENDS DODGE TRUCK) dm
